  • he CSCA uses one main key pair. The main key pair is used to issue Document Signer certificates.
  • The information necessary to verify the Korean CSCA certificate is as follows
    • Issuer: CN=CSCA, OU=MOFAT, O=Government, C=KR
    • Subject Key Identifier: 8D:8B:3B:56:EE:C3:6E:11:AC:05:9D:40:9C:CF:62:93:64:2F:47:35
    • Fingerprint(SHA1): 8A:35:21:B8:D7:1A:54:A2:27:CC:EC:EA:93:72:16:E6:C3:A9:86:E5

  • The CSCA certificate and CRLs are distributed via diplomatic channel, and will be uploaded on the ICAO Public Key Directory in months.
  • The Document Signer certificates are stored in the ePassports themselves, and will also be uploaded on the ICAO Public Key Directory in months.
